Miyabi Sushi Information

Tucked into the busy Southcenter area, Miyabi Sushi at Miyabi Sushi feels like a low-key gem that regulars clearly don’t want to share too widely. The location is convenient if you’re already shopping nearby, but once you step inside, the pace slows down just enough to make it feel like a proper sit-down sushi spot rather than a rushed mall-adjacent stop.

The menu leans into classic Japanese staples with a mix of familiar rolls, nigiri, and sashimi, along with a few house specialties that stand out. The fish quality is noticeably fresh, especially in simpler items like salmon nigiri or tuna sashimi, where there’s nothing to hide behind. One visit included a chirashi bowl that was generously portioned, with clean cuts of fish layered over well-seasoned rice, and it easily rivaled what you’d expect from more upscale sushi bars in the Seattle area. Rolls tend to be well-balanced rather than overloaded, which is a welcome change if you prefer flavor over sheer size.

Service here is friendly without being overbearing. Staff seem genuinely attentive, checking in at the right moments and offering suggestions when asked. During a moderately busy dinner service, food came out at a steady pace, suggesting a kitchen that knows how to handle volume without sacrificing quality. It’s the kind of place where you can tell there’s a loyal customer base, judging by how many people are greeted like regulars.

The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with simple décor that doesn’t try too hard but still feels clean and welcoming. It’s a good setting for anything from a quick lunch to a relaxed dinner with friends. While it may not have the sleek design of trendier sushi spots, the focus here is clearly on the food and overall dining experience.

Looking at reviews across platforms like Google and Yelp, consistency seems to be one of Miyabi Sushi’s biggest strengths. Diners frequently mention reliable quality and reasonable pricing, especially compared to other sushi restaurants in the greater Seattle area. While it may not push boundaries with experimental dishes, it delivers exactly what most people are looking for: fresh sushi, solid menu variety, and dependable service in a convenient location.

What People's Say About Place

My first time having Pan Asian cuisine. It's delicious. I had beef and chicken and my friends had a few different types of sushi. Everything looked great. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff.

My daughter and I needed a nice and reasonably fast dinner before heading to Seatac airport. It was Sunday night, the restaurant was very busy, and we had two places directly at the Sushi bar. The food was delicious, well presented and perfect for what we wanted. All rounded up with a glass of Pinot Grigio.

Great fried rolls, nice servers. A lil pricey but for the size of you roll, it’s seems fair after you eat an get full on just 2 sushi rolls. Nice lunch specials, def wish this was close to my home.

Food and vibes were good. $80 “omakase” felt overpriced and like it was just a regular rotation and not actually omakase. Could be wrong ab that. There was a queue for a table but as a solo diner they had plenty of bar seating available which was nice because I got to watch them make my and other ppls food while I waited and ate Some of the fish I regularly get like salmon and tuna were weak and disappointing. I don’t usually like uni but the uni here was real tasty Didn’t get any of the specials but they had ongoing specials for the Seahawks such as lower prices and special rolls. I did like how it seemed like they are introducing new things or run out of certain supplies which implies it’s very fresh

Such a cute authentic hole in the wall that was a truly amazing fine. Menu was great, I loved the clean, authentic atmosphere, and the servers were amazing and working together to make this one the the best sushi experiences experiences we have ever had

I was fortunate to visit this small but cozy sushi restaurant while killing time before a departure from SeaTac. Nigiri was delicious as well as the super salmon roll. Staff was very friendly and service was just a bit slow, understandably due to it being full and the bar being full as well with omakase going on. A must visit if you are in south center for sure!

This restaurant had fabulous sashimi, sushi, and tempura! I am incredibly excited to return and already crave having another bite. Everything is so delectably fresh and unbelievably flavorful. It’ll be an immensely difficult experience to top. I don’t think it can get much more authentic than this!

Experienced Miyabi Sushi last night for the first time, WILL BE GOING AGAIN!! We could see from the parkinglot that the dining room was quite full, but once through the door we were immediately greated sweetly and taken to a table. Within what seemed to be only seconds, even amidst the bustle of this obviously popular spot, our lovely server was there to greet us. As Vegans, our options can be limited when trying new restaurants, but our orders were taken right away. Our server (I'm so sad I didn't get her name), even had a request approved by the kitchen to accommodate our vegan desires where they created a full order of stir fried veggies* for us, not on the menu...and everything was !! We ordered Avocado Maki, Gamaae, Edemame, stir fried Veggies*, a side of white rice with teriyaki sauce on the side and a tofu & veggie Yakisoba... Amazing!!!!!! Go! Do it! You won't regret it at all! And,...I'm sure their sushi is perf like our food was too! The picture was thot of at last minute lol ;) Oh!... and we ate til we were beautifully satiated, took home a little left overs, shared a beer... all for ONLY $83 loving Miyaki Sushi!
